ACAD Abilities

Why offer this service?
ACAD Abilities offer a specialist service for a medium to long term stay, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, for a maximum of 3 young people at any one time. We are able to accommodate those between the ages of 8 and 19 yrs. We aim to set up everything required to meet the needs of each young person, and each placement is arranged on an individualised basis with full consultation of family, partners and external agencies. We work on a minimum of a 1–1 basis with our young people, offering an intensive support package which is inclusive of all therapies tailored to suit individual requirements. ACAD Abilities has access to a wide range of therapists, combining such things as art and play therapy to enhance the variety of opportunities for every young person. We are also able to offer the services of a counsellor and child psychologist if required. With a fully trained and qualified team, ACAD Abilities are dedicated to a developmental approach being an integral part of our support package and is included in the cost of the placement.
